Plan around traffic and downtime
A warehouse joint review starts with how wheels cross the joint, where edges are breaking, and what shutdown window the operator can provide. Record the affected aisles, cart or forklift routes, recurring impacts and any change in storage or loading use.
Document the joint, not just the surface
Take a wide view of the aisle and close views of each damaged edge. Record approximate joint dimensions in the original units, previous filler or repairs, loose edges, water exposure and whether the condition changes over time. The review must distinguish joint damage from wider slab movement or loss of support.
Confirm the decision before selecting a repair
Repair suitability depends on sound concrete, movement, load and preparation. A useful scope defines the affected joints, access and protection needs, traffic restrictions and return-to-use planning. Commercial assessment can organize the record before a contractor or licensed professional selects the appropriate work.
